TIAMA EGYPT
Terms of service
Last updated 18 October 2026
Warranty Coverage & Exclusions
The warranty covers only production faults and does not cover negligence, misuse, or damage resulting from improper use, including but not limited to: breakage, scratches, application of chemicals to surfaces, exposure to high temperatures, exposure to excessive liquids, accessory damage, etc.
Tiama honors applicable warranty obligations for manufacturing defects. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights under Egyptian Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018, its Executive Regulations or any later applicable amendment. Mandatory Egyptian law prevails if it conflicts with these terms.
Warranty Shipping Costs
The warranty does not cover the cost of shipping from the customer’s premises to our locations; all shipping costs shall be borne by the customer.
Material Specifications & Modifications
Tiama Egypt is committed to using the materials specified in the product description in full. No changes may be made without the customer’s approval, taking into consideration any resulting change in cost.
Delivery Schedule & Force Majeure
Tiama Egypt is committed to the agreed delivery date, except in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, riots, revolutions, curfews, diseases, epidemics, etc. In such cases, the delivery date may be adjusted according to the severity of the circumstances, and the customer will be notified accordingly.
Order Specifications & Post-Approval Changes
Made-to-order pieces are produced to the approved specification. Natural timber, veneer, stone and fabrics may vary in grain, tone or texture; these natural variations are not defects. Changes requested after approval may affect price and timing and require written confirmation.
The dimensions, colors, and materials to be used in manufacturing are determined and approved by the customer prior to production. Any subsequent change to any of these specifications shall entitle the company to charge the customer for the additional cost of the requested change, provided such change is technically possible.
Custom Orders & Returns
In the case of made-to-order pieces manufactured according to the customer’s design and special dimensions, the pieces may not be exchanged or returned without the explicit approval of Tiama Egypt.
Delayed Collection & Storage Fees
In the event that production has been completed and the customer delays collection beyond the agreed date, a storage fee of EGP 500 per day per item shall be charged. The customer shall be granted a three-day grace period from the date of notification before these storage charges apply.
Delivery Logistics & Lifting Equipment
The customer is responsible for accurate site measurements and suitable access unless Tiama has agreed to measure. Delivery and assembly scope must be stated in the quotation. Please inspect the piece on delivery and record visible damage or missing items immediately.
If the items are required to be transported to floors above the second floor, the customer shall be responsible for providing the necessary lifting equipment or crane.
Customer Acknowledgment
The customer acknowledges that they have reviewed and agreed to all terms and conditions, prices, and dimensions stated in the invoice, and no subsequent withdrawal or cancellation of the agreed prices or dimensions shall be permitted.
